18th century Dutch tobacco box with biblical scenes

The tobacco boxes were made in the first half and in middle of the 18th century.                           

In the 18th century, the Dutch tobacco boxes were made mainly of brass and copper, as well as a combination of both metals.

The box has several texts in Old Dutch : 

'Wat kan de mens de rijkdom baten als de doot komt, moet hij 't al verlaten'
